Research on Construction Technology and Settlement Control Measures of Underground Crack Tunnel in Xi'an Metro Line 8

Abstract

The development of ground fissures in the northwest region of China is relatively high, which poses significant challenges to tunnel construction. This paper takes the Xi'an Metro No. 8 underpass ground crack as the background, and uses numerical simulation methods to study and introduce the influence of ground cracks on the settlement rate and final settlement value of tunnel arches, as well as the application of foundation reinforcement method in strengthening ground crack sites. Research has shown that the area near ground fissures has the greatest impact on the settlement of tunnel arches. The use of foundation reinforcement methods can effectively improve the bearing capacity of the foundation soil and ensure the safety of tunnel construction. In addition, for the reinforcement process of shallow buried tunnels and larger tunnel diameters, the use of foundation reinforcement method is more effective and can better ensure the safety of tunnel construction.
